Mary McCormack
Mary McCormack is an American actor who has been known for her leading characters in the TV series 'Murder', 'The West Wing In Plain Sight', and 'Loaded'. Her roles in films include Private Parts, Deep Impact True Crime, and 1408. The daughter of a medical therapist and an ice cream restaurant owner, McCormack hails from a family without any direct connections to the entertainment field. She attended Wardlaw-Hartridge School, and following the separation of parents 1990 then went on to Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, eventually graduating with a BA degree in comparative studies. In the teen years the actress began her career as an actor in a production of the Christmas musical "Amahl And The Night Visitors". She continued performing in the theater and was eventually offered part-time roles, both on the screen with a small size and on the large. In the present, McCormack is recognized as one of the most versatile performers in Hollywood. She has three daughters with her husband, producer/director Michael Morris.
