Kristen Anne Bell is an American actress and performer born in the year 1980. She was born and raised in Huntington Woods, Michigan, and is the daughter of Lorelei (Frygier) and is an RN and Tom Bell, a television news director. Her ancestry is Polish (mother) and German, English, Irish and Scottish (father). Kristen found her talent within the industry of entertainment at a young age. When she was in 1992, the actress attended her first audition and won the role of Raggedy Ann and Andy. Bell was signed by her mother as an agent at the age of was just 13 years old. Bell was later chosen for the newspaper advertisements and TV commercials. Along with taking private lessons and acting lessons, she started her career around that time. Bell was credited with a minor role as a character in Polish Wedding (1998) in 1998. Bell was a student at Shrine Catholic High School and was part of music as well as the drama club. She was cast as Dorothy in the production for high school of The Wizard of Oz. Following graduation, Bell moved in New York City to attend the prestigious Tisch School of the Arts and was a musical theater student. The year 2001 was the time Bell quit her university in order to play the role as Becky on Tom Sawyer. The same year, she had her first credit debut as Pootie Tang. Pootie Tang (2001), but her scene was cut and she was only seen in the credits sequence. Bell appeared alongside Angela Bettis, Liam Neeson and in the Broadway performance of The Crucible in 2002.
