Mary McCormack, an American actor, is known for her lead roles in TV series like "The West Wing, In Plain Sight and Loaded.' Also known for her films roles which include "Private Parts", "Deep Impact", "True Crime" and 1408. Her parents were a therapist and an ice cream parlor proprietor, McCormack hails from a family that has no connection to the entertainment field. She attended Wardlaw-Hartridge School, and following the separation from her parents around 1990 she enrolled at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut where she graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in the field of comparative arts. The path she took to success began at the young age of 12 when she was in a stage production the Christmas musical "Amahl and The Night Visitors'. The actress played for many years before her roles eventually made it onto the screen. The versatility of McCormack is well-known in the present. McCormack has three daughters along and a husband who is a producer/director Michael Morris.
