Awkwafina

Awkwafina is an American performer and actress. She started by releasing humorous, cleverly written music that tackled issues like racial identification as well as sexual orientation. She then expanded her audience to Hollywood. The actress was born Nora Lum to Chinese and Korean immigrant parents within Forest Hills Queens her first experience with music came via trumpet. Then, she started the classical and hip-hop genres. In the end, she focused on her education. she graduated with a degree in journalism in university and also a women's study major. When she graduated, she started to concentrate on music. In 2012 her track My Vag a response to Mickey Avalon's My Dick found viral success on the Internet eventually landing on her debut album Yellow Ranger in 2014. The album also featured viral hit tracks including body positive Queef and a wink-y home tour NYC Bitche$. The final track was connected directly to Awkwafina's NYC travel guide published in 2015. In addition to having a book published as well, she also worked as a singer. In addition to early shows like Girl Code and Tawk she was also in films such as Neighbors 2 Storks as well as Bad Rap. In 2018 she was able to land her first major role in a number of high-profile films like Dude Ocean's Eight and Crazy Rich Asians. In June, she debuted her debut film, In Fina We Trust.
